Industrial Battery Chargers
SET product a range of industrial temperature compensated battery chargers for lead acid and sealed lead acid batteries. These battery chargers are available in standard rack mount cases, down to 2U. The chargers have been designed to run in racks containing other equipment, and therefore use highly efficient switch-mode converter modules which do not require forced cooling. Temperature compensation is provided by altering the final charging voltage depending upon temperature, and look up tables can be provided for both sealed and non-sealed lead acid banks. The chargers have been designed to meet relevant sections of the rail spec EN50121 along with EMC compliance.
Chargers are available in the following variants, case sizes 2U to 4U as required.

Remote sensing is implemented in this range of chargers, and the maximum recommended cable harness length (power, voltage sense and temperature sense) is 10 metres. The battery chargers are easy to use, and designed for long periods of unattended use.
Alternatively, ‘Bespoke’ battery charging equipment can be supplied to suit customers own requirements
