S.E.T. Modular Control System
S.E.T. power products use our own modular control systems allowing for full flexibility and availability. The central processor can be programmed for multi tasking and reporting. It can also be multi-slaved in the same rack to extend its control for even greater flexibility. This system is primarially designed to operate our power inverters / converters which control the patented S.E.T. 'Wheel-Motors', for use in tram and light rail traction systems. The modular control system is an essential element in the S.E.T. frequency converters and specialist, 'bespoke' engineered, power and control systems designed and produced in our Derby Factory.

Power Control Equipment
S.E.T. can provide a range of specialist battery charging, motor control, process control and power control systems, designed to meet the most stringent customer requirements. Systems can be provided in floor or wall mounting cabinets or as open shassis / rack mounting systems for incorporation in customers own equipement.

High Efficiency, Battery Powered, Silent Site Lighting
High Efficiency, Battery Powered, Silent Site Lighting S.E.T. have developed, in conjunction with the other products listed a high efficiency, battery powered site lighting system which will provide 6000 lumens of light (equivelent to 400w incandescent) for 10 hours from a single lead-acid battery (similar in size to an average car battery). This is acheived by optimising the capabilities of a conventional metal halide lamp. The high efficiency achieved enables lighting to be available on emergency (and other) sites without the need for power generation facilities.
